List of technical regulations and standards for the revision of the safety of food additives, essence and processing aids by the Eurasian Economic Union

On August 25, 2020, according to the news from the news center of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the list of standards adopted for the technical regulations on the safety of food additives, essence and processing aids, which contains the rules and research methods necessary for the application and evaluation of product compliance within the scope of application of the technical regulations.

It is reported that the revised list includes the certified measurement method mvi Mn 6028-2018 determination of mass concentration of sulphuric acid in gelatin (calculated by SO 2) and the application time of the other two measurement methods in the revised list, including mvi Mn 806-98 determination of concentration of sorbic acid and benzoic acid in food by high performance liquid chromatography and mvi Mn 3239-2009 determination of trace elements in special foods β- Carotene, which will be formally applied when relevant intercontinental standards are included in the list of technical regulations and standards.
